The Marketing Operations Manager role serves as the central hub for all marketing activity across the organization. This high-impact position is responsible for driving structure, alignment, and execution across Product Marketing, Communications & Branding, and Technical Marketing. The role enhances visibility, accountability, and efficiency across the entire marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Track and manage progress of all major marketing initiatives, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met across all sub teams.
- Process Management: Develop, implement, and refine standardized workflows, templates, calendars, and review procedures to streamline operations.
- Cross-Team Communication: Act as the central point of contact to align priorities and ensure effective flow of information between teams.
- Calendar & Deadlines: Own and manage the master marketing calendar including campaigns, events, trainings, and deliverables.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate assignments, flag bandwidth issues, and escalate blockers when necessary to keep projects on track.
- Status Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular updates on project progress, launch timelines, and performance metrics to leadership.
- Technology & Tools: Administer and support project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, ClickUp) to drive team efficiency.
- Team Enablement: Ensure teams have timely access to necessary resources—files, approvals, templates, and feedback channels.
- Marketing Technology: Support implementation and maintenance of marketing automation and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Google Analytics).
- Campaign Measurement: Monitor campaign performance, track KPIs, and analyze ROI to generate actionable insights.
- Budget & Forecast Coordination: Collect and review budgets, forecasts, and sample requests from Product Managers; track actuals vs. planned spend.
- Meeting & Event Coordination: Organize and schedule recurring meetings such as monthly marketing meetings, kickoffs, budget check-ins, and year-end planning sessions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
5+ years Marketing & Planning Experience
Project management and organizational skills
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
