SmartTalent Staffing is looking to hire an Electrical Technician for a security systems supplier in Tukwila, WA. Ideal candidate will be motivated to work full time and have a minimum of 3 years experience (details below).
PAY: $40 - $50
TITLE & SHIFT: Electrical Technician, Day Shift
LOCATION: Tukwila, WA
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm

ABOUT THE JOB:
Journeyman Technicians take daily direction from the Project Foreman and Project Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Project Foreman in performing installation, startup and closeout of all jobs, and tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
JOB DUTIES:
·Installs and pulls wire as per specifications
·Installs and terminates equipment used in systems
·Tests all equipment after termination is made to ensure performance of the system
·Work in compliance with the company safety manual with safety of self and others in mind at all times
·All paperwork is turned in on time and filled out completely
·Daily communications with Project Foreman and/or Project Manager on delays, requirements and general status of jobs
·Daily logbook is kept up to date with customer requests, worked performed each day, job numbers, dates and times and tasks assigned to apprentices
·Responsible for training apprentices on EC procedures, systems and installation techniques
·All work is performed to EC standards and quality installation techniques and practices
·All jobs are run within each phase's estimate (example: wire pull, mounting, etc).
·Work with Project Engineer on startup to ensure complete system compliance.
·Works with Project Foreman to ensure complete closeout and turn-over of jobs to the client and service department.
·Must have and maintain Washington and Oregon limited energy license. (Jobsite dependant)
·Reports to Project Foreman.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Good attendance is an absolute must!
· Physically able to lift up to 70lbs
· Maintain Journeyman 06 electrical license
· Proper hand and power tool operations and safety
· Ability to read blue prints and schematics
· Ability to wire and troubleshoot relay logic
· Basic computer skills
· Understanding of CAD and Drafting techniques
· Strong customer and results orientation
· Strong communication skills
