Schedule: Monday through Thursday 7:30a-6pm

As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping patients feel at ease while assisting with procedures, promoting preventive care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations—from chairside support to community outreach.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting dentists and hygienists with a variety of procedures including preventive, restorative, oral surgery, and prosthodontics
- Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials to ensure efficient, safe patient care
- Taking radiographs, vital signs, and performing dental charting and sterilization procedures
- Educating patients on oral hygiene techniques and the impact of nutrition on oral health
- Participating in school-based outreach and the Preventive Services Program (PSP)
- Supporting clinic operations through inventory, maintenance, and administrative tasks
- Traveling to other dental clinics as needed and assisting with front desk duties when cross-trained
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School/GED preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• At least two (2) years dental assisting experience preferred
• Computer literate in electronic mail, word processing, and office management system software required
• A valid, unrestricted driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage upon hire required
• BLS certification or ability to obtain required
