Job Description🔧 General Assembler (2nd Shift)

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:15 AM

Training: Conducted on 2nd shift

🚀 Join a Fast-Paced Production Team

We are seeking a skilled General Assembler to support a variety of assembly functions across departments. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-moving environment and can contribute to multiple areas to support production flow and efficiency.

🛠 What You’ll Do

  • Use hand and power tools to assemble custom and standard products
  • Perform fast-paced assembly work across multiple departments
  • Assemble, wire, and test products using sheet metal prints and electrical schematics
  • Work with hand tools, pneumatic tools, and electrical/electronic equipment
  • Move between different functions as needed to support production flow
  • Read and follow blueprints, wiring schematics, and work instructions
  • Work from job tickets, manuals, and verbal instructions
  • Use appropriate tools and inspection equipment to complete tasks

✅ What You Bring

  • 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience
  • 1+ year of experience using hand and power tools
  • 1+ year of blueprint reading experience
  • At least 6 months of computer use
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes

➕ Additional Qualifications

  • Familiarity with inspection processes and systems controls
  • Experience with department-specific setups or equipment
  • Effective communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow and document processes

🏭 Work Environment

Work takes place in a production setting that includes sheet metal fabrication and assembly areas. The environment has moderate noise levels, and steel-toed shoes are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
