Customer Service Representative – Call Center
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Contract Duration: 3–6 months, potential to convert to full-time
Pay Rate: $25-27/hr
Start Date: Contingent on drug and background screening
Our client in Pleasanton is looking for an experienced Call Center Customer Service Representative to support concrete order operations and customer relations. This is a great opportunity for someone who excels in high-volume call environments and is looking for a long-term position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Handle inbound calls and assist customers with their concrete needs, including product selection, delivery timing, and service inquiries. Promote additional services when appropriate.
- Order Management: Enter and update customer orders accurately, including mix types, colors, additives, charges, and delivery locations. Notify managers of any special requests or materials.
- Order Confirmation: Clearly communicate order details and ensure customer understanding of policies regarding scheduling, load sizes, additional charges, and terms of service.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the customer service team.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a customer service role, preferably in a call center or logistics-based environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction or building materials is a plus.
