Miami Construction and Real Estate company is seeking a Controller. In this role you will oversee all accounting, tax, and financial functions, ensuring efficient financial management and compliance. Key responsibilities include supervising the monthly close process, billing clients, managing accounts receivable/payable, processing payroll, preparing budgets and forecasts, and handling cash management and banking relationships. The role involves maintaining accurate accounting records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with lender and regulatory requirements. Additional duties include developing accounting policies, supervising debt compliance, addressing investor and tenant inquiries, managing corporate records, and ensuring timely renewals of business licenses and permits. The Controller also oversees intercompany reconciliations, monitors accounting procedures, supports tax preparation, and maintains effective financial controls. Established company with exciting new projects in place. Must have Yardi experience.
