Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support a high-volume inbound call environment in Pittsburgh, PA. This role serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance and information. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing sensitive conversations while delivering excellent customer service.
This position is primarily remote, with initial onsite training and periodic in-person meetings required. Local Pittsburgh-area applicants only. This position is a contract role for 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and respond to incoming calls from individuals seeking information or support
- Provide clear, accurate guidance based on caller needs
- Assist individuals in navigating available programs or services
- Document all interactions thoroughly and consistently
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and phone-based communication skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Schedule & Work Environment
- Standard schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
- Remote after initial training
- Occasional onsite attendance required for team meetings or equipment needs
