Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Holds a current South Carolina Department of Education teaching license in a Special Education area (such as Learning Disabilities, Multi-categorical, or Emotional Disabilities)
• Demonstrated expertise working with students with a range of special education needs
• Flexibility and adaptability for working with evolving caseloads
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, families, and administrators
• Commitment to creating inclusive, nurturing classroom environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals for assigned students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as required
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and communicate with parents/guardians
• Partner constructively with team members and support personnel to ensure student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, school-based trainings, and ongoing professional development
