Occupational therapist needed for part-time school-based contract position in Broomall, PA. This role serves a low incidence population within a school-age program at an educational center.
Location:
- Broomall, Pennsylvania (Delaware County, IU 25 area)
Position Details:
- Part-time contract opportunity
- Approximately 2 days per week
- Caseload focused on school-age students with low incidence needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services tailored to the unique needs of students within a low incidence population
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student learning and participation in the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapeutic goals into educational programs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as necessary
- Document all services and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with relevant state certifications
- Experience working with school-age children in educational settings, particularly those with low incidence or specialized needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to design and execute individualized treatment plans that support educational goals
