Status: Permanent
Lead One of the Region's Busiest, Most Dynamic Emergency Departments
This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-volume, high-acuity Emergency Department at a 285+ bed Level II Trauma Center — though due to its location, this ED regularly sees a significant volume of Level I trauma patients. With 64 beds, an annual volume of 63,000 patients, and an average daily census of 180, this department demands a strong, experienced leader who can manage complexity with confidence and compassion.
This facility offers state-of-the-art technology, a 24/7 emergency department, an accredited Chest Pain Center, a Level III NICU, a Stroke Center, and comprehensive orthopedic, cancer, and women's services.

What You'll Do
As Manager of the Emergency Room you will provide clinical, financial, environmental, and employee-related leadership for the department. Responsibilities include serving as a professional role model and clinical resource while acting as liaison with medical staff, managing the department within budgetary boundaries and ensuring full regulatory compliance, developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and procedures that define the scope of ED services, recommending and overseeing a sufficient number of qualified staff to meet patient care needs, hiring, evaluating, and providing orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for all department personnel, overseeing disciplinary processes and termination procedures as needed, integrating ED services with the hospital's broader functions and coordinating with other departments, and ensuring staff receive ongoing communication and updates at both the department and hospital level. This leader will oversee all Paramedics, secretaries, and techs within the department.
