Navarro Pecan Company (“Navarro”) has been a leading manufacturer of shelled pecans in North America since 1977. Recently, we’ve transformed our manufacturing process into one of the most modern and automated operations in the pecan industry. We supply pecans worldwide to the bakery, snack, ice cream, confectionary, and cereal industries and have proudly maintained SQF Certification for Food Safety and Quality since 2011.
Job Overview:
We are searching for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Customer Service Coordinator to serve as the key link between our customers, sales team, and operations.
Responsibilities:
Customer Communication & Support

Serve as the primary contact for customers by phone, email, and in-person.

Provide accurate product information, order status updates, and shipping details.

Handle and resolve customer concerns professionally, escalating when needed.
Order & Account Management

Process and enter incoming orders with accuracy (product, quantity, pricing, shipping).

Maintain up-to-date broker/customer records and account details.
-
Track contracts, shipments, and deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment.

Update orders in Innatrack and communicate revisions.
Internal Coordination
-
Work closely with production, QA, shipping/logistics, and accounting teams.
-
Communicate customer requirements such as packaging, labeling, or product grade.
-
Assist with billing, invoicing, credits, and payment discrepancies.

Run reports on order status, balances, and key data for sales and management.

Arrange UPS shipments for smaller orders.
Food Industry & Pecan-Specific Duties
-
Coordinate food safety and quality communication with QA.

Provide Certificates of Analysis, HACCP compliance, and other regulatory documents.

Manage product specs for grade, size, and packaging requirements.

Arrange product samples for customers.
-
Monitor inventory, seasonal supply, and lead times.

Order products for Navarro’s onsite store and website.
Performance & Process Improvement

Monitor service metrics such as order accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Suggest and support process improvements.

Assist with training junior or seasonal staff.
Qualifications:
-
Must be 18 years or older
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Able to lift up to 35 lbs
-
Able to read and write in English
-
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Detail-oriented and organized
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to learn Navarro-specific systems
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Previous customer service or office coordination experience preferred (food industry a plus)
