Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity calls for a Multi-Modality Specialist skilled in operating diverse imaging equipment, including X-ray, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography. The professional will play a key role in achieving departmental objectives and ensuring the medical imaging department operates efficiently. A strong candidate performs at least three of these modalities regularly, contributing to high-quality patient care and smooth workflow.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Proficiency in operating multiple imaging modalities, with a strong focus on X-ray.
- Experience handling CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography equipment.
- Ability to maintain quality control and patient safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Commitment to meeting departmental goals and adapting to dynamic healthcare environments.
- Relevant certification and licensure as required by state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals in conducting imaging procedures.
- Ensure patient preparation, positioning, and comfort during exams.
- Conduct quality assurance and safety checks on imaging devices.
- Support documentation and reporting as needed.
- Contribute to workflow optimization and departmental goal achievement.
