Job DescriptionPosition Overview
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities. Ensure all areas are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Essential Job Functions:
- Cleaning and sanitizing common areas of the facility
- Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked with essential supplies
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary facility for employees and customers
- Using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
- Monitoring/Inventory for cleaning supplies
- Protecting equipment and ensuring there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Adhere to rules regarding health and safety
Knowledge:
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Basic maintenance and cleaning abilities
- Attention to detail
- Work Conditions:
- Open office/plant environment, moderate to loud noise
- Standard automotive plan environment with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety
- glasses, steel toe shoes, hearing protection, etc.
- Ability to walk or stand for extensive periods of time
- Maintain awareness of OSHA safety standards and contribute to a zero-incident workplace.
Compensation:$15-$18 per hour, depending on experience.Education:High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Required
