Alpharetta Comprehensive Dentistry - Dental Assistant / Hygiene Assistant

Seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant / Hygiene Assistant to join our growing dental team. This is an immediate hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and is committed to providing excellent care.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assisting skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to support both doctor and hygiene schedules as needed.

Position: Dental Assistant / Hygiene Assistant

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of dental assisting experience required
  • Must be reliable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Strong chairside assisting skills
  • Ability to take quality X-rays
  • Experience with sterilization, room turnover, and infection control protocols
  • Comfortable assisting with patient flow, seating patients, and preparing rooms
  • Ability to support hygiene appointments
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Must be organized and able to multitask in a busy dental office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pediatric dental experience
  • Bilingual
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting the doctor chairside during procedures
  • Supporting hygiene appointments and helping maintain schedule flow
  • Taking X-rays and preparing patients for treatment
  • Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clean operatories
  • Setting up and breaking down rooms
  • Reviewing patient needs and helping create a positive patient experience
  • Working closely with the clinical and front office team to keep the day running smoothly

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay based on experience (21-23/hr)
  • Full time benefits include medical, vision, dental, disability, uniform allowance, time off

Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday 7:45-5:00
  • Friday when needed 7:45-2:00
  • No Weekends!
