Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology (Contract, Days)Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Interventional Radiology for a contract assignment. The RN will provide care in an inpatient interventional radiology setting and may be required to float to other radiology nursing areas as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
- Assist with pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation in accordance with established protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status throughout the care continuum
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to other radiology nursing units as required
Schedule
- Day shifts
- 10-hour shifts
- Early morning start time
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- Experience with procedural sedation and patient recovery
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
