This contract opportunity is for a Per Diem Registered Nurse providing strictly on-call nursing services within a K-12 public school setting in Anoka, MN. The position starts on January 5, 2026, and runs through June 5, 2026. No minimum hours are guaranteed as the role is strictly on-call to cover day-of call-outs and scheduled absences. The nurse will serve students ranging in age from 3 to 22 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and health assessments within the school environment across a diverse student population
- Respond promptly to call-outs for student health needs during the school day (Monday through Friday)
- Collaborate with school staff to manage chronic health conditions, administer medications, and support students' health plans
- Maintain accurate health records and comply with school nursing policies and Minnesota state regulations
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel regarding student health
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be submitted with application)
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage variable caseloads on short notice
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Anoka, Minnesota, serving K-12 students in the public school district
