Now Hiring: Mathnasium Fun Event & Activity Coordinator
Location: Mathnasium of Sparta
Position Type: Occasional Part-time
Are you energetic, creative, and great with kids? Mathnasium of Sparta is looking for a Fun Event & Activity Coordinator to help bring excitement, engagement, and community to our center through themed events, celebrations, and special activities!
About the Role:
The Fun Event & Activity Coordinator is responsible for planning and leading engaging, age-appropriate events that make Mathnasium an exciting place for students and families. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with kids, enjoys planning activities, and brings positive energy wherever they go. This is an occasional part-time role. Hours will be as needed for planning events.
Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and organizing fun events such as game days, holiday celebrations, STEM activities, and themed math nights
- Coordinating logistics for events (supplies, setup, cleanup, timing)
- Engaging students during events and helping create a welcoming, energetic environment
- Supporting staff during special programs, camps, and promotional events
- Assisting communicating to families about upcoming events through Social Media and flyers
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic, outgoing personality
- Experience working with children (ages 5–18 preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box
- Reliable and able to work some afternoons, evenings, or occasional weekends
- Background in education, child care, events, or recreation is a plus (but not required)
