Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services within a school setting. The ideal candidate will support student development by conducting evaluations, offering counseling, and collaborating with educators and families to foster a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning.
- Develop and implement individual intervention plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide counseling services to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Experience conducting assessments and delivering school-based psychological services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of current best practices in educational psychology and special education law.
