Payroll Associate – Full-Time
Location: Century City, CA
Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000 annually

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Associate to join our team in Century City. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 100 employees and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing for ~100 employees on a biweekly basis.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Review and validate timecards, salary adjustments, bonuses, benefits deductions, and other payroll inputs.
- Process new hires, terminations, and status changes in coordination with HR and Accounting.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and audits.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with general ledger entries related to payroll.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Support accounting and finance teams with special projects during payroll downtime.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of full-cycle payroll experience; multi-state payroll exposure a plus.
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
- Strong proficiency with payroll systems; ADP Workforce Now highly preferred.
- Familiarity with general ledger processes and payroll reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with HR, accounting, and leadership.
