Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Clerk to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $26.00 to $30.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process payment journals and ensure accurate financial entries

Reconcile sales data and bank statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies

Verify petty cash vouchers and records for all store locations

Assist in preparing financial statements and budget analysis reports

Support tax filings at the federal, state, and local levels
Requirements:
-
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Communicate fluently in both English and Japanese, verbally and in writing

Apply attention to detail when reviewing financial data and documentation

Use accounting software and Microsoft Office applications proficiently

Provide administrative support to the Finance Director and CFO as needed
Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Understand basic GAAP principles and apply them in daily accounting tasks

Assist with auditor requests and act as a primary point of contact during audits

Set up and maintain master data in the ERP system
- Aid in implementing new accounting policies, standards, and procedures
