Spherion is recruiting for a Finance Director specifically experienced in non for profit for our client in Bridgewater, NJ.
As the Director of Finance, you will oversee the financial management of a multi-million-dollar non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community. This role is responsible for ensuring sound fiscal management, compliance with funding requirements, and providing financial insights to drive strategic decisions. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will lead a collaborative finance team while acting as a key liaison with federal, state, county, and other funding sources.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting required; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in supervisory roles within fiscal management, accounting, or business.
- Non-profit experience is a must, with Medicaid billing expertise.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Expertise in budget management, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Proficiency with accounting software and other office technology.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
