An urgent need exists for two Temporary Pharmacists to support a home infusion pharmacy located in Henderson, NV. This important role requires strong expertise in sterile compounding and comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy operations within a production environment. This 8-week contract offers a structured day shift schedule, running Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm PST, with potential weekend shifts and on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, accreditation, and manufacturer requirements while maintaining licensure and promoting safe pharmacy practices.
• Oversee prescription review, fulfillment, shipping, referrals, and patient counseling to guarantee timely and accurate patient care.
• Collaborate closely with intake, referral, pharmacy, and shipping teams to support onboarding processes, workflow efficiency, and staffing needs.
• Provide supervision and training to staff, manage escalations, maintain records, and actively participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Sterile compounding expertise, specifically with USP 797 standards, clearly demonstrated in the resume.
• Clear and active NV Pharmacist license.
• Proven experience in production pharmacy settings.
• Skilled in sterile IV compounding with the ability to verify medications before and after compounding.
• Familiarity with the CareTend software system is preferred.

Schedule:

• Day Shift: Monday Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm PST.
• Possible weekend shifts and on-call rotation may be required.
