Senior Civil Engineer Land Development (Pacific Northwest)


Location: Seattle, WA or Portland, OR | Full-time | 8+ Years of Experience

Overview:

An award-winning, multi-disciplinary civil engineering firm is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a background in land development, stormwater, and utility design. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership capacity and is looking to impact projects across commercial, residential, and infrastructure development in one of the countrys fastest-growing regions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead civil design efforts for land development projects, including grading, drainage, utility layout, and stormwater systems.
  • Manage project delivery across multiple stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Review and seal design documents and provide guidance to junior staff and EITs.
  • Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and permitting agencies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist with proposal writing, scope definition, and client presentations.


Qualifications:

  • PE license required.
  • 8+ years of site development or civil infrastructure experience.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, drainage analysis, utility planning, and permitting.
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and mentor younger engineers.
  • Experience with public and private sector projects preferred.
