JOB SUMMARY
The Bus Driver is responsible for operating: shuttles, trucks, buses and vans to deliver personnel to and from the jobsite(s) and work locations. This role may support expediting and other related tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Checks email first thing in the morning, and at end of day.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections at the beginning of day, and a post trip at the end of the work day.
- Prepare, update, and maintain daily passenger manifest.
- Monitor equipment operation and identify malfunctions to Lead and/or Mechanics.
- Inspect, adjust, and perform minor equipment repairs.
- Clean, sanitize, re-stock, store, and maintain equipment as required.
- Strictly adheres to State, Federal and companies driving policies and journey management instructions.
- Make roundtrip transport using Shuttle, Bus, or designated passenger vehicle, to and from Deadhorse, daily or as specified in Travel Manifest for special transport.
- Scan completed bus manifests and pre/post trip inspection sheets to the Lead Shuttle Driver before ending their shift.
- Ensure vehicles stay within maintenance intervals. Alerts Lead Shuttle Drivers when approaching these intervals.
- Deliver personnel, materials, and equipment to and from field facilities and Deadhorse Airport (DAC), Aurora or other sites as needed.
- Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
- Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years related Slope Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license B
- Passenger Endorsement
- DOT Medical Card
