Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Specialist role based in Cincinnati, OH. The Human Resources Specialist will support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, while ensuring a positive and inclusive employee experience. Daily responsibilities include maintaining employee records, administering benefits, assisting with payroll coordination, and answering HR-related questions from team members and managers. The role will also help implement and communicate HR policies, support performance management processes, and coordinate training and development activities. The Human Resources Specialist will collaborate with leadership to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, and contribute to initiatives that reinforce a supportive, high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources (HR) fundamentals and practices, with the ability to support employees and managers across the organization.
- Experience in HR Management and Personnel Management, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance support.
- Familiarity with HR Policies and procedures, including compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Experience administering Employee Benefits and coordinating with external vendors or brokers.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and basic office software (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and prior HR experience in a small or mid-sized company.
