Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An established Medical Surgical Care unit seeks a skilled registered nurse to provide exceptional night shift care. This 36-hour per week contract position offers consistent scheduling with 3 shifts of 12 hours each, running from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. The role requires every other weekend shift, with no on-call responsibilities or block scheduling.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license is mandatory.
- Previous experience specifically in Medical Surgical nursing.
- Preferred experience in telemetry monitoring.
- Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications.
- Compliance with the State of Maines flu vaccine mandate.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the medical surgical unit.
- Monitor patients telemetry status effectively.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to timecard submission policies.
Schedule:
- Night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- 7:00 pm 7:30 am
- Every other weekend required
