We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in an organized office environment. This is a short-term contract position based in New Orleans, Louisiana, ideal for someone with strong organizational and communication skills. The role is expected to last between 2 to 6 weeks, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to administrative functions while ensuring seamless workflow.
Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate party and providing excellent customer service.
• Perform general office tasks, including data entry, filing, and document organization.
• Process daily mail, ensuring accurate distribution and handling of correspondence.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for creating, updating, and managing documents.
• Assist with receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and maintaining a welcoming office environment.
• Scan and digitize documents for record-keeping and easy accessibility.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper handling of confidential information.
• Previous experience in administrative support or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle inbound calls professionally and efficiently.
• Familiarity with scanning and digitizing documents.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
