Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting preschoolers as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming educational setting. Bring your expertise in school-based and pediatric speech-language therapy to a collaborative environment and make a meaningful contribution to children aged 3-4 as they embark on their early learning journeys. Working closely with a friendly and supportive staff, you’ll take the lead on a manageable caseload of 13 students, providing targeted services from now through the end of the school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP licensure and ASHA CCCs or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in a school or early childhood setting
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus, though not required
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to preschool students, focusing on individual goals and early childhood milestones
- Conduct thorough initial evaluations to identify student needs, strengths, and areas for growth
- Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with teaching and support staff
- Provide direct therapy three days per week, reserving two days for completing initial assessments
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation of student progress and compliance with all school policies
- Engage with families and educators to support student development
