Automation Control Technician
Days: M-F
Hours: 8-5p
Pay Rate: $24-$40 per hour depending on experience.
Job Description:
- Build the Future: Install, configure, and maintain smart building automation systems—HVAC controls, access, video security, and more.
- Own the Project: Collaborate on commercial installations from the ground up—blueprints, setup, testing, and performance tuning.
- Solve the Puzzle: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to ensure peak efficiency and reliability.
- Navigate Complexity: Read and interpret blueprints and manuals to ensure flawless system integration.
- Document Your Wins: Keep detailed records of system performance, testing, and configuration to keep everything running smoothly.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Completion of an HVAC technical program or apprenticeship
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, access control, or video security systems
- Knowledge of Schneider and Niagara software (a plus)
- Computer and IT networking skills (preferred)
- Understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and safety protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
