The Parking Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the garage, ensuring efficient vehicle handling, customer satisfaction, staff supervision, and adherence to safety and company policies. This individual will manage valet attendants, maintain the organization of the garage, and ensure a smooth and professional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and schedule parking staff to ensure top-tier customer service and operational efficiency.
- Monitor the flow of vehicles in and out of the garage, optimizing space utilization and minimizing wait times.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or incidents professionally and effectively.
- Conduct daily inspections of the garage for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movement, staff hours, incidents, and customer issues.
- Coordinate with property management as needed.
- Manage inventory of equipment (keys, uniforms, tickets, etc.) and request maintenance or replacements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in valet or parking operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and run short distances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with valet management software
