Salary Range: $43,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust manufacturing presses according to job specifications.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality parts.
• Monitor press operation, tooling, and part output for optimal performance.
• Perform in-process quality checks and inspect finished products for defects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or production issues.
• Load raw materials and unload finished components from the press.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate logbooks.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, punch).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and performing minor machine adjustments/maintenance.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance or minor machine repair.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Basic computer skills for data entry and HMI operation.
