Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are currently seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for an opportunity near Providence, RI. This contract position offers a consistent schedule with full-time hours. The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 10 students in a self-contained classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with autism
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and behavior
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and academic growth

Qualifications:

• Rhode Island Teaching Certification in Exceptional Student Education (ESE)
• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum preferred
