Job Type: Part-Time possible go Full timeJob Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant & Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is responsible for handling a wide range of administrative tasks while also assisting with bookkeeping duties . The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Administrative Assistant Duties

  • Provide general administrative support, including managing emails, phone calls, and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring easy access to important documents.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other business documents.
  • Handle office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Support HR functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining records, and tracking time-off requests.
  • Assist with special projects and general office management tasks.

Bookkeeping Duties

  • Process invoices, track expenses, and reconcile accounts.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and generate reports as needed.
  • Support payroll processing by gathering necessary data and ensuring accuracy.
  • Work closely with the accountant to prepare for tax filings and audits.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, office manager, or similar role.
  • Basic bookkeeping experience or knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or financial administration.
  • Familiarity with office management and HR processes.
