Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located in Citrus Heights, CA, this K-12 school position seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide essential support to students throughout the academic year on a contract basis. The role emphasizes working within educational settings, delivering therapeutic services to enhance student participation and success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
  • Prior experience in schools or pediatrics preferred
  • Strong understanding of pediatric developmental needs and school-based therapy practices

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to educational goals
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation
  • Implement therapeutic interventions addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning
