Located in Citrus Heights, CA, this K-12 school position seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide essential support to students throughout the academic year on a contract basis. Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
- Prior experience in schools or pediatrics preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric developmental needs and school-based therapy practices
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to educational goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation
- Implement therapeutic interventions addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning
