Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across East Lansing seeking Customer Service Representatives who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately, ensuring adherence to product specifications and delivery schedules.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, technical specifications, and order status.
  • Liaise with production, logistics, and quality control teams to provide customers with accurate lead times and updates.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, product defects, and shipping discrepancies efficiently.
  • Coordinate return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and warranty claims in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain comprehensive customer records and communication logs within the CRM system.
  • Provide proactive communication on potential delays or changes affecting customer orders.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve complex customer inquiries and issues.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, product lifecycles, or supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP systems for order management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and record-keeping.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes or supply chain operations
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications or product data sheets
  • Experience in a B2B customer service environment
