Role Overview
We are seeking an International Logistics & Account Coordinator to support and grow our international moving operations. This role combines day-to-day shipment coordination with partner and client relationship management. The ideal candidate understands international logistics and enjoys taking ownership of projects, solving problems, and building strong working relationships with agents and customers. This is a hands-on, in-office role with opportunity to expand into account growth and commercial responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate international import and export household goods shipments from booking through delivery
• Manage air and ocean freight moves (FCL/LCL), scheduling, routing, and tracking
• Prepare and review documentation including AES/ISF filings, bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork
• Communicate daily with overseas agents, freight forwarders, brokers, truckers, and steamship lines
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned international accounts and partners
• Respond to pricing requests and assist with quotes using tariffs, carrier rates, and accessorial charges
• Monitor shipment performance, resolve service issues, and ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate internally with operations, warehouse, customer service, and accounting teams
• Identify opportunities to strengthen partner relationships and increase shipment volume
• Support industry events, partner outreach, and account development initiatives as needed
Qualifications
• Experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, relocation, or transportation operations
• Working knowledge of import/export processes and customs documentation
• Prior sales or business development exposure or experience a strong plus
• Moving or household goods industry experience preferred
• B2B or account management experience a plus
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Clear communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Proficiency in MS Office/Outlook
