Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Outpatient Clinic | Maryland

Location: Chevy Chase Village, Maryland

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $180,000.00 - $200,000 per year + benefits

We are looking for a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic outpatient clinic team. In this role, you will work closely with physicians to provide exceptional care, including diagnosing, treating, and managing a range of medical conditions. Job Duties:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical exams
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic conditions in the outpatient setting
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging) and prescribe medications
  • Provide patient education on disease management, wellness, and preventative care
  • Perform minor procedures, as needed, under the supervision of physicians
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive medical records
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification from an accredited program
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility)
  • BLS/ACLS certification required
  • Previous outpatient experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
