Grey Shark Pool Services is seeking a Service Coordinator/Customer Care Administrator to manage customer communications, scheduling, and daily office operations.
This is an entry-level role with opportunities for advancement as the company expands. The position begins part-time and shifts to full-time after training. The work is on-site on Oak Island to help develop familiarity with the systems and operations.
Grey Shark Pool Services is a locally owned company serving Oak Island, Southport, St. James, Caswell Beach, and surrounding areas. We are known for clear communication, reliable service, and disciplined execution.
This role is operationally critical. You will keep customers informed, support technician coordination, and maintain organized, accurate records.
What You’ll Do
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Schedule service, provide updates, and handle service-related questions
- Manage technician routes and daily scheduling within routing software
- Support field operations with follow-ups, work orders, and job tracking
- Maintain accurate customer records and service documentation
- Handle email and internal communication
- Use company systems to organize and track information
- Assist with expense tracking and inventory
What We’re Looking For
- Strong, professional communication across phone, email, and text
- Solid computer proficiency, including Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
- Experience with CRM systems and organized recordkeeping
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for expense tracking
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through consistently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Background in pool service, property management, or home services is a plus
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience
- Part-time to full-time transition
- Laptop and work equipment provided
- Paid training
- Paid time off (upon full-time transition)
