Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, the cath lab, and during surgical procedures.
  • Uphold professional standards, demonstrating courtesy and adaptability while providing essential vascular services.
  • Execute all facets of Vascular Surgery within the scope of your approved credentials and privileges.
  • Engage in program development, setting objectives, policies, and standards crucial for quality care delivery.
  • Contribute to the Vascular selection process.
  • Oversee patient caseloads with available staffing, which may involve mentoring mid-level providers, students, and residents.
  • Accurately document interventions and review relevant health team documentation, collaborating with primary care providers when necessary to address changes in patient conditions.
  • Identify complex situations affecting patient care and take appropriate action using sound judgment and professionalism.

As a Staff Vascular Surgeon, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our veteran community. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with rotating on-call duties, promoting a healthy work-life balance. We offer competitive salaries ranging from $350,000 to $400,000, along with annual performance bonuses and regular salary increases that recognize your dedication and hard work.

Additionally, our team enjoys a generous Paid Time Off package, which includes 50-55 days of annual leave. This encompasses 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and a potential 5-day paid absence for Continuing Medical Education (CME).
