Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A sterile pounding pharmacy serving the Norman area is seeking a Pharmacist in Chargeto oversee sterile pounding operations, manage regulatory pliance, and lead a growing team. This position is essential in maintaining sterile standards and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Direct daily sterile pounding operations to meet USP <797>/<800> requirements

Maintain environmental controls, cleanroom pliance, and sterility assurance

Oversee QA/QC processes, internal audits, and ongoing staff petency testing

Supervise and mentor pharmacists, technicians, and sterile staff

Review and sign off on batch records, sterility tests, and QA documentation

Ensure inspection readiness and proper regulatory documentation

Provide clinical guidance to prescribers on pounded formulations

Improve workflow efficiency and support operational growth initiatives
Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Active and clear pharmacist license in Oklahoma

Sterile pounding experience required

Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, cleanroom standards, and regulatory expectations

Leadership experience in a sterile or highly regulated setting
