SUMMARY

CICOA is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults and individuals with disabilities in Central Indiana with services such as home modifications, meals, transportation, caregiver support, care management and community health programs. We're on a mission to empower our community and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live well at home and maintain their independence.

As Digital Marketing Manager, you'll be an integral part of our three-person marketing team, reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications and collaborating closely with fundraising and program staff to amplify our message and impact. Your primary focus will be on leveraging digital channels, including our website, email and social media, to engage our audiences and drive action.

This role is a part-time position (less than 30 hours/week). Scheduled working hours are flexible and can be determined with the supervisor upon offer of employment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Website Redesign: Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications over the next year, you’ll play a key role in CICOA’s next website redesign. Lead efforts to migrate existing content and develop new content.
  • Website Optimization: Follow SEO best practices and enhance user experience to increase traffic, engagement and conversion rates. Create a seamless online journey for all visitors – clients, caregivers, donors and volunteers – that inspires them to take action.
  • Content Strategy Development: Using our editorial calendar as the foundation, oversee content creation and distribution. Identify opportunities for lead generation and landing pages.
  • Email Marketing: Develop and implement email marketing campaigns that resonate with our donors and drive engagement. From crafting compelling content to analyzing performance metrics, you'll ensure our emails deliver maximum impact.
  • Social Media Management: Be the voice of CICOA across various social media platforms. You'll create engaging content, foster community engagement, and leverage insights to optimize performance and reach. Identify trends and use video to help CICOA stand out.
  • AI Integration & Responsible Use: Leverage AI responsibly as a powerful assistant to enhance our output, always maintaining human oversight, ensuring all outputs are thoroughly reviewed and aligned with CICOA's standards.
  • Analysis: Regularly analyze, interpret and report on key digital marketing metrics, providing recommendations to improve campaign performance and inform future strategies.
  • Travel locally within Central Indiana as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university, preferably in communications, journalism, digital media or related field. Demonstrated ability and experience developing and executing digital marketing strategies. Nonprofit experience preferred but not required.
