Position Overview
The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the tax compliance and planning functions for our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of tax laws, regulations, and strategies, with a focus on optimizing tax liabilities and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of tax compliance and reporting including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company's objectives and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Review and analyze tax returns and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support on tax-related issues to internal stakeholders and management.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in tax management or public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
