Full Time Experienced Dental Front Office Receptionist

Responsibilities
- Duties include maintaining the daily schedule, checking in/out patients, handling incoming phone calls, as well as other various front desk duties
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the system
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, referrals and faxes
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organized
Job description
We are a busy practice looking for an experienced scheduling coordinator who is capable of multi-tasking and has excellent verbal and communication skills. Duties include maintaining the daily schedule, checking in/out patients, handling incoming phone calls, as well as other various front desk duties. Dental front office experience required. Experience with Dentrix is a plus! We look forward to hearing from you!

Preferred, but not required:
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Experience with dental scheduling software such as Dentrix
- Previous experience in a dental/medical office setting preferred
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
