Express Employment Professionals in Woodbury, Mn is seeking a Parts Prepper for a great company in the East Metro Area!

Pay: $19-22 per hour

Schedule: 2nd shift: M-Th 3:30pm-2am

Parts Prepper Duties:

• Inspect parts for previous damage and complete paperwork to ensure proper steps are followed.
• Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components prior to paint and powder coat application.
• Work with others to prep parts properly.
• Maintain equipment and keep work area in order.
• Operate batch ovens according to work order specifications.
• Inspect parts after coating is complete.
• Unmask, unplug, and package components as needed.

Parts Prepper Skills and Experience Required:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a paint shop a plus.
• Perform basic math calculations.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Possess strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for 9+ hours a day.
• Must be able to use hands to position parts in place.
• Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces on to pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing.
• Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
