Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a night shift ICU position requiring at least 2 years of experience and AHA BLS/ACLS certifications in a complex, multi-specialty intensive care environment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Works in a 24-bed Intensive Care Unit
- Patient population includes medical, neurological, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgical cases (excluding fresh open heart surgery)
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3
- Night shift hours: 18:45–07:15
- 13-week contract
- Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active RN license in Indiana or a compact state license recognized in Indiana
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Two professional references required
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
