Sunset Care Homes is a group of three private residential care homes near Witchduck, Great Neck and Haygood in VIRGINIA BEACH dedicated to providing a safe, healthy, and caring environment for seniors. Our compassionate team offers an alternative to traditional nursing homes and assisted living, focusing on adding value to our residents' lives in a home-like setting.
Sunset Care Homes LLC is searching for three immediate FULL TIME or PART TIME hires for the 7a-3p, 3p-11p and 8a-2p shifts and with alternating weekend shifts required for experienced Certified Nurse Aides. Nursing home or residential care home experience preferred. Our shifts are in Virginia Beach in a small home setting with a limited number of residents. At least one aide is in the house 24/7 to care for all needs.

Summary
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support the nursing staff with basic patient care tasks.
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Document care provided accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Nurse Aide or similar role in senior or healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of geriatrics and post-acute care practices.
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Certification as a Nurse Aide required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
