Job DescriptionMachinist – 1st Shift | $28–$30/hrPeople Plus is partnering with a local manufacturer to hire an experienced Machinist for a 1st shift, Monday–Friday opportunity. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can set up and operate machine tools to produce high-precision parts and maintain industrial equipment.Schedule:

<li>Monday – Friday- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM</li>
</ul>
Pay:
<ul>
<li>$28–$30 per hour- Pay based on experience and skill level</li>
</ul>
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments</li>
<li>Fabricate, modify, or repair parts for machinery and machine tools</li>
<li>Maintain and repair industrial machines as needed</li>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications</li>
<li>Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop math, metal properties, layouts, and machining procedures</li>
<li>Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Proven experience as a machinist or in a similar role</li>
<li>Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and meet production standards</li>
<li>Experience with precision measuring tools preferred to hearing from you!</li>
