Restaurant Manager

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a strong, experienced Restaurant Manager with true leadership capability to help guide the team and maintain the high standards that define Gabriella’s.
This role requires someone who is highly present on the floor, confident leading teams, comfortable holding staff accountable, and committed to building a culture of professionalism, hospitality, and performance.
This is not simply a shift manager role. We are looking for someone who can operate with the mindset and capability of a General Manager when needed, helping drive both service standards and operational excellence.
This role requires a high-energy, hands-on manager who enjoys being present on the dining room floor and engaging with guests throughout service.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Accountability

Lead by example with a visible, confident, and hands-on management style

Set the tone for professionalism, urgency, and hospitality on every shift

Hold team members accountable to service standards, policies, and expectations

Address performance issues directly, professionally, and promptly when needed

Coach, mentor, and develop staff while fostering a culture of pride and teamwork

Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
Guest Experience & Floor Leadership

Maintain a strong presence on the dining room floor during service
-
Personally greet guests and ensure every table receives exceptional hospitality
-
Touch tables consistently and resolve guest concerns immediately and professionally

Create memorable guest experiences that drive repeat business and strong guest relationships
Restaurant Operations
-
Oversee daily restaurant operations including opening, closing, shift management, and guest flow
-
Manage reservations and pacing to optimize table turns while protecting the guest experience
-
Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the restaurant
-
Assist with scheduling and labor management to maintain operational efficiency
-
Work closely with kitchen leadership to ensure strong FOH/BOH communication
Administrative & Systems Management
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working within modern restaurant management systems and using operational data to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities may include:

Reviewing sales and labor reports

Supporting payroll processes

Managing reservations and guest flow

Assisting with event coordination

Monitoring operational performance metrics
Operational Support

Assist with inventory oversight and ordering when needed

Collaborate with ownership and leadership on operational improvements

Help implement systems and standards that improve service consistency and team performance

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of restaurant management experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant

Strong leadership presence and confidence managing teams

Ability to maintain composure and make decisions in fast-paced environments

Excellent communication skills with both guests and staff

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience working with restaurant technology platforms and reporting systems

Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
Leadership Mindset
We are looking for a manager who is confident leading people, comfortable addressing issues directly, and committed to maintaining high standards.
This role requires someone who is present on the floor, proactive with staff, and willing to hold the team accountable when necessary.
If you prefer a hands-off or purely administrative management style, this role will likely not be the right fit.
Compensation

$70,000 – $85,000 salary based on experience
