Production Planner
Location: Miami Lakes, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: Required as needed (occasional weekends based on production demands)
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Planner to support our manufacturing operations. This administrative role is responsible for coordinating production schedules, monitoring work-in-progress (WIP), and communicating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time and accurate production flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to meet operational goals
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and walk the production floor as needed to verify status
- Communicate production priorities and updates with internal teams
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Use Microsoft Excel to track schedules, materials, and production data
- Identify potential issues and collaborate with teams to resolve scheduling or production challenges
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to planning and workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Excel proficiency test will be administered during the interview)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to walk the production floor and engage with production teams
- Bilingual: Ability to read and write in English and Spanish required
- Experience in framing, custom manufacturing, or art handling preferred
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends based on production needs
- Must be able to pass a national criminal background check and drug test
Work Environment
- Office-based with regular interaction on the production floor
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring adaptability and attention to detail
