Future Opportunity
Strong performers may be invited to continue with EPATT in a part-time after -
school teaching role during the 2026 –2027 school year.
Transition & Preparation (April-May 2026)
To ensure a strong start to the summer program, the selected candidate will have the
opportunity to begin learning the role during April by observing our current ACESteacher.
During this transition period, the teacher will:
• Observe the structure and expectations of the ACES program
• Become familiar with student learning needs and academic platforms
• Gain exposure to EPATT’s instructional approach and culture
The schedule will be flexible and will primarily occur during EPATT’s after -school
program hours.In May, the selected candidate may also step into an after -school teaching role tosupport the program while current ACES teachers transition to summerprogramming.
Position SummaryEPATT is seeking a dynamic educator to serve as the Middle School Impact
Teacher for the Summer 2026 ACES Program.This role is ideal for someone who:• Enjoys working with middle school students• Can lead structured academic instruction• Uses data to guide student growth• Builds strong relationships with students• Brings organization, positivity, and strong classroom leadershipThe Impact Teacher will lead daily academic sessions, facilitate applied learningexperiences, and help create a positive environment where students growacademically, socially, and physically.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Instruction
• Lead daily math and reading intervention sessions
• Identify student skill gaps and guide targeted learning
• Provide small group and individual support when needed
• Monitor engagement and adjust instruction accordingly
Student Goal Setting
• One academic goal
• One personal or life -skills goal
• One fitness or physical development goal
The Impact Teacher will guide students in tracking progress and reflecting on growth
throughout the program.
Science & Applied Learning
• Facilitate hands -on science and applied learning activities
• Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration
• Support student projects and presentations
Classroom Culture & Leadership
• Create a structured and welcoming learning environment
• Reinforce responsibility, teamwork, and positive habits
• Serve as a mentor and role model
Collaboration
• Coordinate with tennis coaches and program staff
• Support smooth transitions between activities
• Participate in team meetings and planning conversations
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
• Teaching credential preferred
• Experience working with middle school students
• Strong classroom management and facilitation skills
• Ability to lead structured academic instruction
• Experience using learning platforms such as IXL, Achieve3000, or i -Ready
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
Compensation & Benefits
- • $50–$55 per hour , depending on experience
• Seasonal summer position (5 weeks)
